Creative Stitches by Sheryl

Etsy shops are my favorite, especially ones that offer a wide array of monogrammed items! Creative Stitches by Sheryl is quickly becoming a new favorite because of all of the wonderful monogrammed merchandise offered.

Recently, I received a tank top, nike shorts, and headbands from her shop and I find myself constantly reaching for these items as soon as they are clean!

Summers in the south get HOT so I am all for loose fitting tank tops instead of t-shirts! I now have the perfect fourth of July top to wear when the weather is unbearable! And with anything "'Merica" themed being popular at the moment, I feel like this is perfect to wear all summer long! I love that the monogram is taken to a more fun level with an appliqué flag fabric. This tank is super comfy and baggy  so I also wear it as a bathing suit cover up!

I do not need to elaborate on my love of nike shorts and you all know I am a fan of monograms so thee two things combined are a dream team! I hunk the monogram size is perfect and the quality of the monogram on the shorts is great because there is no tugging of the fabric!

Lastly, I received these cute thick headbands which I have found many uses for! I love throwing one on to keep my hair out of the way while washing my face or doing my makeup and they are also great to wear while working out!

As you can see, Stitches by Sheryl has lots to offer and all of these items are available at very reasonable prices! The owner is so sweet to work with and is more than willing to make sure everything is exactly how you want it!

Ellie's May Workout Gear, 2 Pieces for $49.95

Y'all know my obsession with Ellie workout gear and I love that each month a new collection is released! This month, I am specifically loving the tops and the backs of the tops!

Running in a t-shirt where I live in South Alabama is NOT an option, it is far too hot for that! That is why I love Ellie's fun workout tops! While their pants are awesome for the winter, this month I will be getting tops that will motivate me to want to workout!

Ellie offers a great program, The Fit Fashionista Club, where you can get two great Ellie pieces for $49.95 each month! That is a steal considering most of the tops are at least $45.00 on their own. The quality of these clothes are amazing and the fabric is breathable which makes it great to workout in!

Another great aspect is that Ellie is a new company meaning you will not match all of your friends at the gym! I am getting my friends hooked on these great pieces and they seem to love them as much as I do!

Exam Study Tips

As of noon today I will have 2 exams down with only one more to go! Today is my last day of school and I have an AP Literature Exam to take! I am exempt from my exams meaning I only have to take the AP tests this year which is very nice! Over the past four years, I have learned a lot about studying for exams and wanted to share some study tips as exams begging to approach!

Do Not Procrastinate

This just makes you feel like you have a whole lot to do but not a lot of time to do it in! Cut out distractions so that procrastinating will be less tempting!

Get Enough Sleep

The amount of sleep you get really will help to determine how well you do on a given exam. Make a conscious effort to get about eight and a half hours of sleep the night before your exams!

Clean Your Study Space

It is harder to get tasks accomplished quickly when your surrounding space is cluttered and messy. Before you even start studying be sure to clean up the surrounding area!

Turn Your Notes Into Flashcards

Flashcards are a great way to quiz yourself on the go! Start by reading through your notes and highlighting the most important facts, then transfer those important concepts to notecards to study!

Study Solo

While group studying can be great, you are more likely to get tasks accomplished when you are not distracted by others! Do your best to study alone in order to optimize the amount of time you are studying.

Remove Distractions

This goes along with not procrastinating but by removing distractions you are less likely to procrastinate!

Take Breaks

Studying for long chunks of times makes it harder for your brain to remember all of the information than if you study in pieces. I like to have a 3:1 ratio of studying to breaks!
