About Me

I am a 17 year old high school senior living in Alabama. I created this blog in December of 2011 as a way to de-stress while doing something productive in the evening while studying and homework encompassed my thoughts. Since then, this blog has become a hobby of mine and can best be described as a lifestyle and preppy fashion blog with organization tips thrown in. 

I love anything monogrammed and my friends always joke that everything I own is monogrammed. I love hair bows, pearls, agendas, cupcakes, post-it notes, peppermint, preppy clothes, and shopping to name a few things!

 I am a diligent worker and have high expectations for myself when it comes to grades or anything I do and put my name on. I am a perfectionist and love school supplies and organizing things! With this love, I am a smart sharer for The Smart Girl's Group, an online magazine empowering high school and college girls to be smart and share their smarts! It is no surprise that my column in this publication is the Organization Station!

I would describe my style as preppy and classic. I like to purchase pieces that I know will last me for a long time and never really go out of style. A few of my favorite places to shop are J.Crew, Lilly Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, and Ralph Lauren just to name a few. I am always posting about new shops I've found online and cute items to check out on etsy.

This school year I am trying to balance soccer and cross country, with homework and studying, along with the daunting task of college applications thrown into the mix. Although I may feel stressed often occasionally I know that my hard work and efforts are the best I can do and whatever happens will work out for the best. I plan to enjoy everything that takes place (and not stress so much) because as ready as I may be to go to college I feel truly blessed to live the life I live.
